Best Fertility Clinic in Chennai - Increase Your Chances of Conceiving

When should you consider looking at fertility clinics in Chennai?
Everyone has their own time and planning when it comes to starting a family. This is when couples stop using contraceptives to kick-start their family planning. When you start having unprotected intercourse, remember that a woman’s body will require time to adapt and get used to certain aspects such as her monthly cycle. However, after trying to conceive for months, that horrid moment comes, when nothing happens.

It’s crucial to remember that the older you get; the more difficult it is to conceive. A 25-year-old lady can wait a few months, whereas a lady in her mid to late 30s should seek medical assistance at a fertility clinic in Chennai, a lot quicker. This can be the difference when it comes to having a smoother IVF experience.

What clinic/doctor do I go to?
When you begin seeking out treatments, you will be bombarded with multiple fertility clinics in Chennai. More times than not we tend to choose clinics based on a simple advertisement rather than doing more research about which clinic gives us the highest success.
Innumerable couples are under the impression that fertility treatments have a fixed cost and tend to seek out the most affordable options. However, every fertility clinic in Chennai has their own cost and pricing for each treatment their procedures. The reality is that the cost of infertility treatments varies from clinic to clinic. This is because of a number of factors. Take for example Nova IVI Fertility gives you a package pricing which includes the cost of the procedure, medicines, counseling, sonography and other services.

How affordable or expensive are treatments?
This factor will largely depend on your diagnosis. You can get a loan or avail simple and easy finance options provided by the clinic itself. It makes sense to arrange the finances accordingly; only when you are made aware of what is the problem and procedure to treat it.
A very important piece of advice is to ensure the budget you are allotting for the treatments is spend wisely and with complete awareness of what you are spending on. The fertility clinic in Chennai shouldn’t surprise you by revealing hidden costs periodically during the treatment cycle.

What is the difference between IUI/IVF/ICSI?
IUI – Is the process of placing processed semen sample containing motile sperms through the cervix into the uterine cavity around the time of ovulation.
IUI is generally the first line of treatment when medication and timed intercourse does not succeed. It is recommended for patients with mild to moderate decrease in sperm count and /or motility, or if there is mild endometriosis. For women who do not ovulate regularly, ovulation induction maybe combined with IUI. Also, in some couples in whom there is no apparent cause for infertility (unexplained infertility), IUI may be advised.

IVF –In vitro fertilization refers to a procedure where the woman's eggs are removed from her ovaries and fertilized with the man's sperm outside the body, in a laboratory. The embryos formed are then put back into the uterus to achieve a pregnancy.

IVF was initially offered to patients with bilateral tubal block. Today, its indications include mild to moderate male factor, couples who are unable to conceive after first and second line procedures like ovulation induction (OI) and intra-uterine insemination (IUI), patients with endometriosis, Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome who have not conceived with routine treatment and those with unexplained infertility. IVF is also the treatment option for couples requiring donor oocytes.

ICSI – Naturally, the fertilization process involves the penetration of a single sperm from the ejaculate into the egg (called oocyte in scientific terms) released during the menstrual cycle. Said sperm must penetrate the shell of the oocyte (called zona pellucida) to immediately after fuse with the female gamete.

Sometimes, either due to physiological deficiencies that may lead to a drastic reduction or absence in the production of gametes or due to poor gamete quality or defects in the interaction, the process of fertilization can be diminished or even prevented.
